Broker

Broker agents, or simply brokers, are the ones that arrange to transport the client’s properties from one location to another. They act as the mediator between the clients and the moving companies and nothing else.

Freight Forwarder

Freight forwarders are the ones that arrange the transportation of the client’s properties from one place to another. Unlike brokers, they are directly involved with the items (of the client) and will be the one tasked to transport the items (alongside with other members of the moving company).

Household Goods Motor Carrier

This is a type of a motor carrier that carries out the tasks of transporting the client’s properties from one location to another, as well as offering other extra services such as:

  • Packing the client’s properties in order to guarantee its safety.
  • Performing inventory checks to ensure that the items are complete.
  • Loading and unloading items at specified locations by the client.

Transportation Service Provider

More commonly known as TSPs, they are the ones that provide freight or passenger transportation. This also the more common term for moving companies.

Move Managers

Move managers are the ones who oversee the entire moving process. Move managers assist the clients in order to make their move a pleasant one.

Senior Move Managers

Senior move managers have the same responsibilities as move managers, with the only difference them handling specific needs by elderly clients, hence the term “senior”.
