Atlas Becomes Firm Advocate of Move for Hunger

Atlas Van Lines, one of the largest moving companies to date, is now partnering with Move For Hunger, a non-profit organization dedicated to fight nationwide hunger by collecting food from money collected from performing household moves. To celebrate their joining as an Epic Partner of Move For Hunger, they have donated more than 3,050 pounds of food and $850 to Tri-State Food Bank. To date, Atlas Van Lines has donated more than 32,273 pounds of non-perishable food across various US states.

Atlas (including 70 Atlas agents from all around the world) is one of the 398 moving companies in the moving industry network that provide help to one of the nation’s largest service programs like the Move For Hunger. Atlas aims to build awareness on nationwide hunger and encourages more of their customers and clients to donate unused food items to their local food banks in order to help the less fortunate.

Jack Griffin, president and COO of the Atlas World Group, states that “the Atlas family is excited to have the opportunity to partner with the Move For Hunger and join the fight against the food shortage our country is facing”. Jack also states that this is their first non-profit project in the move networking scene and that they are aiming to give back to the local community. He also states that this project will never lull as America is always on the move, and this is why they are very much excited on becoming an Epic Partner for this project.

In other moving industry news, Atlas Headquarters’ have provided meals to families in 33 countries across Kentucky, Illinois, and Indiana. Currently, they are providing their free services to other states in various countries as an Epic Partner of the Move For Hunger project.
