Atlas Van Lines Expands Market Share with CMSA Members

Atlas Van Lines, one of the largest leaders of moving and transport services in the nation, is continuing to expand and strengthen its network of agencies across the United States and Canada. As part of an ambitious expansion strategy, Atlas is spreading its market share through additional and expanding CMSA member agencies.

Atlas Van Lines has been in business for 65 years. Starting with 33 entrepreneurs from the transfer and storage industries, Atlas has expanded internationally into a family of companies under the Atlas World Group name. Their goal from the start was to create a network of companies that work together to deliver transport services and operate efficiently from coast to coast. Through the addition of CMSA member moving and relocation companies, Atlas continues this legacy.

The California Moving & Storage Association (CMSA) is a non-profit organization that represents over 100 licensed and insured movers in California. When moving companies join the CMSA, they gain a reputation as a quality and professional mover. Through partnering with CMSA members, Atlas Van Lines ensures that these agencies are reputable and valuable additions to their network.

The latest addition to the Atlas Van Lines agencies is Modesto Transfer and Storage located in Modesto, CA. Servicing the Central Valley of California, Modesto Transfer and Storage expands Atlas’ coverage of the San Francisco-Oakland region.

Two CMSA members that are already Atlas agencies are adding locations and expanding their markets. Daniel’s Moving & Storage located in Long Beach, CA is adding a location in Omaha, Nebraska. As well, Atlantic Relocation Systems will now have locations in Anaheim, Seattle-Tacoma in Washington, and Colorado Springs, CO.

Not only has Atlas expanded through its agencies, but Atlas has managed to add truck drivers to its fleet during a challenging driver recruitment period. The addition of 25 owner operators will benefit Atlas Van Lines as they continue to complete 80,000 moves every year.
