AMSA Attracts Attendance at Conference

Last October, AMSA’s annual Safety and Operations Conference was held in San Antonio, Texas. The conference had nearly 70 participants, breaking attendance records. Coincidentally, it was held in the same hotel as the Claims Prevention and Procedures Council, allowing both groups to network with each other. However, the Safety and Operations Conference was designed to provide practice solutions to every day problems in the moving industry, along with providing the latest and greatest news and innovations in the industry.

From local moves to the global moving market, it’s been hit hard and introduced a whole new debate over price and value. Bekins Moves to Wheaton

As Wheaton Van Lines grows closer to completing the acquisition of Bekins Van Lines, Inc., both brands prepare to share operational efficiencies as the fourth-largest goods carrier in the U.S. When the acquisition process is complete, each company will be centrally headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, the long time home of Wheaton Van Lines. Once the two companies combine, their combined van line agent base will rise from 240 to approximately 370 across the country.

Movers Rodeo Competition

Imaging putting your packing skills to the test as you compete against other movers to be the best. The competition was originally developed to highlight the best practices in the moving industry and serve as a training experience.
