Moveline: Moving Industry

Moveline Is The New Technology Player in The Moving Industry (Part 1)

how-moveline-worksThe new, year-old Moveline technology has found a way to enter the moving industry after it received an investment of around $1.5 million from a cluster of “angle” investors. The new technology has been developed by the Moveline Group, Inc that is engaged in the business of property brokering and household goods.

Based in New York, this licensed company offers relocation services and pricing to potential movers using their software programs.

Moveline is among the new ventures that allow any long-distance movers to use a recorded video or a variant of the FaceTime app to carry out a unique in-home survey.

Registered users can integrate and connect with the “Move Captain” for filming instant virtual videos of their home. The Move Captain works like the conventional relocation management deliveries of move coordinators, household goods estimators and van line dispatchers, but the best part is that it involves all these functions combined together into one profile.

The Move Captain uses the video provided by users to create comprehensive inventory containing the user’s home and the estimate of the cartons needed for packing everything. After the list is created, it is send to the user for review, any changes and approval.

The Move Captain would collect precise information such as the type of access such as stains or elevators, and any restrictions to access such as certifications, insurance and parking permits. This would be evaluated for both the origin and the destination.

After Moveline has sourced all information about the type of moving job, it would source estimate quotes and fixed price from a number of already verified local household goods moving companies that are approved for being part of the company’s network.

The unique thing about Moveline is that they maintain high level of customer privacy by not providing any type of personal information during the price request phase. The local movers and storage providers have been choose based upon the level of reliable services, delivery and pickup performance, and compliance to all the safety and motor carrier requirements.
