Two Men And A Truck, one of the largest and well-known moving companies in the United states as well as on Canada and Ireland, is planning to expand their services to Southern California and the Mid-Atlantic region this year. Having more than 230 locations on more than 30 states in the United States, as well as having branches on Canada, England, and Ireland, the company is looking to increase the number of their branches in order to service more people worldwide.
From the company’s humble beginnings in the early 1980s when brothers Brig Sorber and Jon Sorber used an old pickup truck (the origin of the name of the company) to perform moves, their small-time jobs turned into a huge empire. According to the founder and current CEO of Two Men And A Truck, Mr. Brig Sorber, the company has gained an exceptionally huge growth since 2009. Mr. Sorber has cited that the company has gotten a double-digit growth in the last three years, as well as breaking current records on the number of moves done on the past years, the number of franchise locations, and revenue figures. This, according to Mr. Sorber, shows that people trust them a lot and also notes that this is a sign that they should expand their services to other locations.
This year, Mr. Sorber already has plans to start new store locations on San Diego, CA and Westchester, NY. Plans for expansion and opening of new store locations on the European region are also underway.
“Our geographic growth had to build on the success of existing stores in the region”, explains Mr. Sorber. He continued that they have been deliberate in the opening of the new stores in new locations. However, when they saw that it has been successful in the first few runs, they now plan to expand and widen their services in order to be able to offer their services not only in the United States, but also on other countries as well.
