The Benefits of Move for Hunger

Move for Hunger started small back in 2009. The organization was originally worried about getting members due to limited time and resources. However, participating movers say that the benefits are undeniable. Now, there are over 350 AMSA moving companies in 42 different states working together to deliver food to food banks. Over 519,000 meals have been provided to food banks nationwide thanks to the extreme growth of Move for Hunger.

AMSA Attracts Attendance at Conference

Last October, AMSA’s annual Safety and Operations Conference was held in San Antonio, Texas. The conference had nearly 70 participants, breaking attendance records. Coincidentally, it was held in the same hotel as the Claims Prevention and Procedures Council, allowing both groups to network with each other. However, the Safety and Operations Conference was designed to provide practice solutions to every day problems in the moving industry, along with providing the latest and greatest news and innovations in the industry.
