This past January, the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) issued a final ruling restricting the use of mobile telephones by interstate commercial motor vehicle drivers. Under the new set of regulations, drivers are not permitted to reach for, dial or answer a mobile phone while on the road. The new ruling, while greatly restricting mobile phone use, does not affect the use of hands free devices. Tools like CB Radios, GPS and Fleet Management systems are also being excluded from the ban.

Boston’s Gentle Giant served as the official mover in the Boston Marathon on April 16 for the 16th consecutive year. Working for more than 350 hours starting weeks before the event, they provided transportation and storage of supplies, food, beverages, and athletic equipment.
Moving companies this year have had a decrease in the available number of drivers and movers in the state of Ohio due to the economy slightly improving, making it difficult to find a moving company to move your belongings with out a months or more notice.
